Accutane is a popular prescription acne pill that will help you to fight acne from the inside out. It uses a form of vitamin A, and it has been used only for extremely severe case of acne to say the least. It is called isotretinoin, and it has been known to fight acne and win where others have failed. However, it is highly controlled and was approved in 1982.

Pros

This formula can help you to fight acne. It works better than others in some ways, and it has been known to work for celebrities such as Jessica Simpson for example.

Cons

Unfortunately, Accutane doesn't work for everybody. It basically stops all oil production in your body. The problem is that your body and your skin need those oils, even to fight off acne, which I realize seems contradictory. But it's true. You need those oils and without them many experience joint pain, dry eyes, dry skin, cracking, peeling, itching, rashes, changes in fingernails and toenails, and various other side effects including severe birth defects.

Conclusion

We would not recommend using Accutane, even in severe cases. Many have found that it simply isn't really worth it. You can definitely find better to say the least, and many already have for those highly obvious reasons. We would recommend that you become one of them.
