Proactiv is among the most popular of acne fighting formulas that was introduced years ago. It was introduced to be developed by two experienced dermatologists that wanted to effective give you something different, and they claim that you can easily get the benefits you are looking for without any of the hassle, even including free gifts like their green tea moisturizer.
Pros
Proactiv has recently lowered their prices, and quite frankly they are still found in vending machines, stores, and through of course the internet all across the country. They have shown results for a significant number of people using clinically proven benzoyl peroxide, and their multi step program is preferable in potentially providing more comprehensive benefits.
Cons
Proactiv is based around literally the most common ingredient found in any acne treatment at all. In addition, it does cause irritation, and it is not at all different from your average prescription or other over the counter product in general, making it hard for many to use this or any imitators for that matter.
Conclusion
Proactiv has drawn many followers and imitators, because it's so easy and cheap to make. However, this does not make it more effective than others, and it's definitely not worth the money you will pay, even with the recent price drop to accommodate the falling economy. We would not recommend it.
